The event, held under the auspices of the Shipping Deputy Ministry and the U.S. Embassy in Nicosia, celebrated the collective efforts of the maritime industry.
Our commitment to safety at sea is exemplified by our involvement in the U.S. Coast Guard’s Automated Mutual-Assistance Vessel Rescue (AMVER) program. This vital initiative, open to all vessels, enables merchant vessels to aid ships in distress on the high seas. Acheon Akti Navigation Ltd. received three awards in recognition of our dedication to ensuring safer seas through AMVER. We are honoured to have contributed to U.S. Coast Guard’s international life-saving network and to be one of the 20 Cyprus-based companies recognized in 2023. This achievement underscores our commitment to maritime safety and our responsibility to support those in need wherever they may be.
